Amélia Cuinet

Kindergarten teacher (1st year)

Amélia is French and has lived in Cambodia since 2019. She holds a university license in psychology and also has complementary diplomas in socio-educational animation and in the medico-social domain. Thanks to her theoretical background, she was able to work with various audiences (children, adolescents, people with disabilities, and elders). She then made the choice to live abroad and specialize in child education. This brought her to become the coordinator of kindergarten in a French-speakingschool of Phnom Penh where she taught to 2-3 years old children. She became
passionate about pedagogy and education. In order to promote and nurture learning, Amélia is very attached to creating a safe, fulfilling, benevolent environment to promote autonomy, sociability, and the daily well-being of children. Amélia enjoys traveling and practicing cultural, recreational, and artistic activities.
