In 2012, the Alfond-Vincent and Damperon families started the EFB kindergarten class with one classroom, one teacher and five students in a rented space on the Phare Ponleu Selpak (a local Cambodian non-profit arts school) campus.

Their vision was to build a nonprofit international school that could provide a superior and enriching French education for international and the Cambodian students.  With the support of committed parents, EFB has grown every year to become an established French international school in Cambodia.
