Welcome to the Ecole Francaise de Battambang.  I hope that you find everything you need on our website and get a sense of what makes our school so unique.

When the school opened in 2012, the school had one classroom, one teacher and 5 students in kindergarten. The dream was to create a true international french school that could offer the high quality French education for French nationals, international families and Cambodian families up to secondary school.

I am proud of what EFB has developed in Battambang, with the support of the French Embassy, other french schools in Cambodia, and of course the Cambodian Government. EFB has become an excellent international school, with excellent academic results thanks to the Montessori method in kindergarten and the official French CNED curriculum in elementary and junior high school, and a supportive community atmosphere for children to develop.

In September 2019, we move to our new location closer to the center of Battambang town, providing better infrastructure and work environment for both students and teachers. The new facilities will allow the school to grow to up to 85 students, while our class size will remain small, between 6 and 15 in primary and secondary school and 24 in our kindergarten classrooms.

I hope that after reviewing our website, you will take the time to join our Facebook community.

If you have any questions about our school, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email.

Merci,

Caroline LOEUM GRELIER
